Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo!!! The Crash My Ride EP really did start off with a brilliant bang and Surrey outfit Stagecoach are back with a Weezer-esque melody, adding their own little quirks and mandolin lines in for good measure.
Jonah Lomu is the new single from the indie-noisey-fun-rock band that is Stagecoach. If you haven’t heard of them before, I’m not entirely sure I can describe them aside from that they’re one of my favourite new bands, both on record and live. Their first two EPs and split single with Johnny Foreigner last year have gained them an increasinly large and loyal fanbase across the country and they’ve hit up almost every live event possible from Alcopop shows with the likes of JoFo through to Live at Leeds, The Great Escape and this weekend’s Dot to Dot, tearing up each one back to back.
Jonah Lomu is released on Monday on This is Fake DIY. A limited 50 pizza-box edition of the single will be available only at the single launch at Camden’s Barfly on June 2nd, and the other 250 cds, in video game format, will be available from here.
In the mean time, listen to their SoundCloud Set below.
