This is probably my favourite part of this blog. I get to share with you some of my favourite live shows in their entirety, as long as they’re still online.
Today, I’m in a world of painful work due to business and schedules, and when in a situation like this, I find that a band like Arcade Fire make everything better.
Last year, as you may remember, Arcade Fire headlined Reading and Leeds Festivals to much controversy. On Friday night at Leeds and Saturday at Reading, after the dust had settled from the huge Libertines reunion shows, Arcade Fire, also known as “who the fuck are the arcade fire” stepped on stage to silence their critics. In two parts, here’s the BBC coverage of exactly how they did so, and went on to be the triumphant band of 2010.
Enjoy, I know I did and will for the next 90 minutes.
Here’s the setlist as well
